https://www.ventrac.com/ The fastest way to stripe a football field is with a Ventrac Wide Area Mower.Aaron shows the best striping pattern to create broad, clean stripes on any football field and how to do it while saving the most time and labor. He demonstrates why this big, fast, mowing machine is much quicker than a zero-turn. With less time spent turning the tractor around, the WAM can tackle much more ground in a shorter amount of time, making it the most efficient mower for the job. Using this pattern of mowing, the operator can handle two full passes within each 5-yard line on the field, making it the fastest way to mow without having to slow down. The five 20-inch cutting blades beneath the deck get to work on this athletic field, which can be completed in 20 minutes with this setup. The Ventrac MK960 saves operators time with its large cutting width of 95 inches, almost 8 feet wide. The WAM can cover ground much faster than any zero-turn and produce stunning results with its full-width rear striping roller. And the unique weight transfer setting on the tractor also helps to enforce the full weight of the tractor and mowing deck into bending the grass over and making those stripes.Want to stripe the football field for that big look while doing it in record time? Follow this striping pattern with the Wide Area Mower on your next football field, and you’re sure to be impressed.Products featured in this video:VENTRAC 4500: https://www.ventrac.com/products/tractors/4500 MK960 WIDE AREA MOWER: https://www.ventrac.com/products/attachments/mk960 For more information, visit https://www.ventrac.com/ Find a dealer near you! https://www.ventrac.com/dealers Get a FREE catalog! https://www.ventrac.com/contact/catalog Subscribe here! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0aiC7V2JS3nh11R5tRuIUw Connect with Us!Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/ventrac/ Instagram - @ventrac_tractorsTwitter - @ventracI'm Aaron Graber with Ventrac. In this video, we're gonna show you the fastest way to stripe a football field. To do this test we ended up at one of the local high school football fields. What they happen to mow this field with is a 60-inch zero turn. A lot of people could assume a zero turn is much faster because it turns around much quicker. But if you think about a sixty inch, or even a 72 inch zero turn, you'd be turning around so many more times. That it's going to be way less efficient to mow this whole area. This deck has a 95 inch cut width and is a big fast mowing machine. Also worth mentioning is at the ventrac wide area mower specifically it has a full-length steel roller on the back, and it also has a weight transfer system on the tractor. What it does is put the most amount of weight and the most amount of force into bending that grass over so that after you cut it, it lays in the direction you want it to be. Also because of the mowing pattern that we did to get the single direction stripes for every five yards, we never actually had to turn around and make a three-point turn. It allows you to pull this off using two passes within each five yard line. You'll start at one end of the field and mow your endzone. What you'll want to do is pick a yard marker and make one mowing pass down that yard marker. Then skip one deck width and go back the other direction on the next yard marker. That'll leave you with two unmowed strips. You can clean up those two passes that you left in the same direction that you travel the first pass and you'll have two five yard spans striped in opposite directions. Repeat this process all the way down the field and you'll find that it'll take you about 20 minutes to mow a football field with this setup. Thanks for watching this video.
