As a recent high school graduate, he had a choice to pursue a different career in college or focus on mowing. His choice to go in this direction has paid off and gave him the opportunity to purchase a Ventrac. His company handles many different accounts from small residential, multi-acre agricultural properties, and commercial facilities. With the purchase of his Ventrac, tough cut, and mowing deck, he was able to broaden his customer base. Marietta is extremely hilly and rugged—full of thick brush which presented a challenge to other landscape companies.
Andrew describes that with a stand-on or mid-mount mower, you may rut up the surface or slide when you turn or start mowing on some slopes. However, he doesn’t run into this problem when he gets on his Ventrac. In fact, he feels as if he is “part of the machine instead of just being on top of the machine.â€
His Ventrac not only allows him to mow slopes and tackle rugged terrain, but he now has the opportunity to purchase other attachments. He hopes to buy more attachments to broaden the versatility of his business.
